Senior Process Engineer

 

Our client, one of the world's leading chemical production companies, is currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Technical Superintendent, you will form an integral part of the chemical process team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Undertaking continuous improvement
• Trouble-shooting and reliability of a large, complex process-driven industrial environment
• Daily maintenance based on best-practice techniques
• Working on continuous improvement projects utilising six sigma methodology
• Design and implementation of global plant trials.
• Delivery of energy efficiency and cost reduction initiatives.
• Technical support for day-to-day operations.

This position is offered on a permanent basis, with a standard working week of 38hours. This role is located approx 150km south of Perth and relocation assistance is available.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in Chemical or Process Engineering
• A minimum of 7 years experience in the chemical or minerals processing sector
• Experience in a complex plant environment is highly desirable
