HSE Manager - WA

Here is your opportunity to join an organisation that is a leader in its specialist field. Employing approximately 1500 people nationally, this successful business is in the middle of a cultural change program that has seen Health, Safety and Environment elevated to a primary position on its strategic agenda.

Reporting to the State General Manager and under the strategic direction of a General Manager of SHE your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of SHE professionals to implement SHE strategy
  • Facilitate the ongoing development and implementation of SHE improvement plans, systems and processes
  • Provide SHE advice to the WA region in relation to SHE legislation and standards
  • Coach and mentor senior management and key operational personnel, team members
  • Maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Lead significant incident investigations
  • Oversee the audit and inspection plan for the operation
  • Monitor and report injury/incident trend data and recommend actions for ongoing improvement

To be successful in this position you will bring ????? ????? as a SHE Manager in a high risk operation. Critical to your success in this position is strong leadership and influencing skills with a proven track record in improving safety performance through behavioural change programs. Equipped with formal qualifications in SHE you possess strong technical knowledge and the ability to apply it in a practical, logical manner through consultation with stakeholders at all levels.
