Chef Manager

7:00am to 3:30pm

Vision Food Solutions is a medium sized contract catering ????? ????? in the aged care industry. We have laid solid foundations with some of Melbourne's most reputable aged care providers and are eager to form lasting relationships with key employees.
We currently have a vacancy at a recently opened aged care facility located in South Morang.
The position is a "hands on" role that involves the following duties:
- Cooking of all main meals - with the assistance of a 2nd Chef
- Baking of morning/afternoon teas
- Staff rostering
- Staff supervision (10-15 staff)
- Ordering
- Budget control
- Liaising with client, residents and management
Previous experience in working in a aged care facility is desirable but not essential.
Most shifts are 7:00am to 3:30pm but as a Chef Manager the role may entail working some 9:30am to 6:00pm shifts to monitor the dinner service at the facility.
Alternate weekends.
