Java Lead Developer - small company, required: leadership skills across the board inc architecture, coding, requirements, QA, clients & deployment.

We're looking for a highly skilled lead Java developer.

In this role you will be the technology lead for this small company. The buck stops with you.

You'll be:

• extremely knowledgeable and up to date with all aspects of web based Java programming
• have a broad knowledge of a wide range of modern technologies
• have experience leading a small team
• diplomacy, persuasiveness and communication skills
• have the wisdom to be an effective right-hand person to the Managing Director
• the skills to gather and document client requirements
• have the wisdom to ensure software development projects succeed
• have client facing skills, able to understand clent needs
• sufficient project management capability to manage the work of your team
• understanding of production, hosting and operational systems
