CONFERENCE SALES PROFESSIONAL

The company
The Lancemore Group is an established market leader that owns three premier Conference Centre and Country House Hotels in regional Victoria (Lindenderry at Red Hill, Lancemore Hill at Macedon Ranges and Lindenwarrah at Milawa). They are looking to the future with great excitement as they focus on significantly growing their conference business. Indeed, they are one of the few hotel groups that are investing in Sales & Marketing to gain market share during ????? ????? downturn.
The role
The candidate will be responsible for co-delivering ????? ????? sales budget, meeting business development KPIs and ensuring ????? ????? across the sales cycle. As a member of a small, but highly effective conference sales team, you will be at the centre of it all and will report to the General Manager - Conference Sales.
The candidate
You will have the following skills and capabilities:
- Ability to covert enquiries to sales through effective sales techniques
- Excellent business development skills
- Outstanding communications skills
- Outstanding people skills
- Excellent client management skills
- A sound knowledge of yield management practices
- Ability to penetrate existing customer accounts
- Excellent business acumen
- Experience in sourcing preferred supplier agreements an advantage but not necessary
- Experience in developing conference sales strategy an advantage but not necessary
