International telecoms organisation requires a seasoned RF designer with a focus on in-building coverage and repeater sites.
 
You will be required to perform radio frequency design, optimisation and investigative work associated with IBC/repeater rollout projects. Daily tasks will include liaising with vendors, compile and review feasibility reports, evaluate and create IBC site designs.
 
The role will require not only a very strong technical knowledge – a degree in electronics or telecoms related field is essential – but also a good set of communications skills, as you will be dealing with a variety of co-workers and stakeholders and visiting sites.
 
You will have a  solid understanding of:
• In-building DAS and repeater experience for 2G and 3G, preferably with local experience.
• Demonstrated experience of detailed technical design / optimisation in a cellular mobile operator environment.
• Radio propagation theory and modelling
• Antenna design and implementation principles
• Cellular Network Theory
• Traffic Theory
• GSM Mobile System
• 3G Mobile System
