Joining this prominent organisation with a strong market presence in a specialist retail field this is your opportunity to broaden your claims and injury management experience in safety orientated position. Reporting to the National OH&S Manager and working as a member of a dynamic team your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the data and incident reporting process
- Supporting the development and implementation of a new reporting tool
- Liaising with internal Claims/Return to Work professionals in relation to Workers Compensation claim activity nationally
- Attending, coordinating and or participating in claims reviews as required
- Assisting in the roll-out of the health & wellbeing programs and other health & safety initiatives & associated programs
- Coaching stores and management on return to work, reporting processes and incident investigations
- Producing reports and analysing data to ensure that the business meets its reporting requirements and understands the cause of injuries and incidents
- Supporting the National Health & Safety Manager with the rollout of programs and provide administrative support as needed.
- Coaching managers in early intervention practices
To be successful in this position you will bring ????? ????? a track record managing Workers Compensation Claims with a demonstrated interest in Occupational Health and Safety (preferably supported by qualifications in this field). You will have an understanding of Injury Management principles and early intervention initiatives and will be capable of interfacing with stakeholders at all levels in a professional, engaging manner. Key to your ability to excel in this position are strong organisational and analytical skills and a willingness to learn and acquire new skills.
