TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE of this newly created role within this global bank that has resulted from large scale growth. My client is hunting for an experienced Chief Architect to Head up the Enterprise Architecture Team for Wholesale Banking. This is on a huge scale. 

My client is after a wholesale banking heavy hitter. 

The successful candidate will have a broad architectural background (or a strong understanding and interest in Enterprise Architecture Experience within the Wholesale Banking Domain with experience in delivering ????? ????? and diverse architectural and business domains in addition to managing teams in a large corporate organisation.  

You will define and evolve Enterprise architectures across Wholesale banking technologies.  This will entail facilitating of the project design process to ensure a timely and quality outcome is meets stakeholder (business and IT) needs.  

Your responsibilities include:  

• Stakeholder engagement and collaboration    
• High-level influencing, providing technical leadership and strategic advice    
• Leading role in setting the IT Architectural framework    
• Provide strategic IT investment guidance    
• Understand future requirements and ensure IT investment optimisation and alignment    
• Strategic guidance in the design for architecture compliant projects and activities    
• Supports and assists Enterprise Architects in the preparation of architecture detail  

The successful candidate will have:  

• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence upwards    
• Experience managing, developing and coaching a team of architecture professionals    
• Leadership and negotiation skills, with deep business strategy and operations knowledge    
• Advanced knowledge of technical solution development practice and industry standards    
• Exposure to systems architecture frameworks, principles, and modeling concepts    
• Experience as a technology/business domain specialist    
• Extensive Information Technology enterprise / solution development/integration experience    
• Great people, time and work-life management skills
