Our established and fast moving client is in an exciting phase of growth, enjoying strong sales performance particularly in the Singapore office. The incumbent Sales Director is highly regarded and is returning to Europe to continue his success within this global business whilst being on hand for a smooth handover.
Managing a largely outbound phone based team of BDM's, our client is strictly B2B delivering ????? ????? conferences and events globally. Delivering ????? ????? multitude of industries, the BDM's are expected to research and embrace their sectors to ensure powerful sales conversations with C level decision makers to secure sponsorship.
As Sales Director, your role will be to support the growth of the sales team in Singapore. Reporting to the MD, you will contribute to the strategic development of the business and requires an experienced candidate with at least 5 years in B2B sales and management.
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Manage the sales performance of a team of 10 comprised of senior and less advanced sales professionals
- Combination of developing mature sector sales and growing fledgling sectors through a mixture of sales, business development and management
- Hit and over-perform on sales targets across all sectors and manage sales budgets and drive revenue strategy
- Design and implement structured professional development programmes to develop future sales capability
- Cross-team development & training (skills, knowledge & process) To include: induction training of new starters, cross-team training sessions to improve sales skills across the company and one-to-one coaching and mentoring ????? ????? reports
- Be highly results focused and lead by example
- Regular reporting and forecasting with the MD and Global stakeholders
