    (18 Month fixed-term contract with possible extension)
     
    Due to an increase in the number of courses being offered, highly motivated and inspirational trainers and assessor are required to work within the dynamic environment of the Mental Health Coordinating Council’s Learning and Development Unit.
     
    This role is available either full time or part time and would suit an experienced trainer who is a creative, organised professional and wants to make a difference within the Mental Health Sector by providing quality training.
     
    The Mental Health Coordinating Council (MHCC) is the Peak Body for community organisations working in mental health. MHCC is a Registered Training Organisation and delivers accredited training aimed at developing the skills, knowledge and career opportunities for people working in community organisations.

    Essential Criteria
    • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
    • Presentation and training skills and experience
    • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Industry knowledge & experience of community services
    • Experience of Microsoft Office program / IT Literacy
    • Drivers licence
    • Willingness to travel within NSW
     Desirable Criteria
    • Certificate IV mental Health Work (non-clinical)
    • Industry knowledge & experience working in mental health services
    • Knowledge & experience with alcohol and other drugs work
    • Commitment to OH&S, EEO, Anti Discrimination and Ethical Practice
