CONFIGURATION CO-ORDINATOR / DRAFTSPERSON

My client is one of the world's leading supplies of railway systems and services.  They are currently seeking a Configuration Management Co-Ordinator / Draftsperson.  The role responsibilities are split into 2 key areas.  80% of the role will focus on configuration management work and 20% of the role will focus on mechanical drafting.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and establish configuration management procedures and processes
• Coordinates and supports day to day configuration management database activities across Sydney business including process compliance adherence and process documentation
• Administering ????? ????? Change Control system
• Complete mechanical drawings and other drafting work as required

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Understanding of the principals of configuration management activities
• A sound knowledge of drafting principles
• Previous experience in mechanical drafting in any of the following industries:  Aerospace / Automotive / Defence / Pharmaceutical
• Day to day implementation of configuration management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering ????? ????? trade background or post secondary education qualifications
