Electronics Service Technician with a difference!!

Due to solid growth of this global Renewable Energy (Solar) company an exciting new role has emerged in this newly established division of the Australian operation.
You will report directly to the Technical Service Manager and you will be working within a small, dynamic and friendly team.
As the Service Technician your responsibilities include,
Initially, this role will involve assisting customers over the phone in regards to technical customer service issues. Over the next 6-12 months the role will then require the successful candidate to be out in the field performing 'hands on' service technician duties.
Other duties involve the following,
- The service and maintenance of high tech Solar products
- The handling of the exchange pool
- The management of stock-keeping (spare parts management)
- Set up and execute technical training throughout Australia and New Zealand
- Handling technical enquiries from clients over the phone
- Remote Support experience, 2nd level of support
- Participation in trade fairs
To be successful in this position you will need the following,
- Must have Qualifications in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering
- High proficiency in MS-Office applications
- Preferable to have warehouse management software experience, ie, (SAP, MYOB)
- Onsite service experience
- Preferable to have IT Network setup knowledge
- Well developed interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Must be a team player
- Willingness to travel to Germany for extensive training courses
