Production Manager
We are a long established Fashion and Uniform company that designs, manufactures and supplies high specification garments for our clients. We have a thirty seven year history of successful trading in the competitive, dynamic and complex international clothing industry. Our core business today is primarily as specialist supplier to educational and high-end hospitality industries. We have a strong commitment to develop and produce custom designed uniforms with high visual impact and high performance. Our experienced production team successfully manages the multi-faceted supply chain within the manufacturing ????? ?????, both locally and offshore.
We are now seeking for a person to fill the role of Production Co-Ordinator to manage local and offshore manufacturing. In order to qualify for the role, you will have strong leadership qualities and a need to set direction. Written/spoken English and Mandarin is highly regarded.
You will be able to manage:
- Product development, production and logistics for both our local and offshore manufacturing
- Organising and following through with the development of first samples and approvals right to bulk production and delivery to the Client
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping companies and ensure all deadlines are met
- Negotiate competitive prices, terms and specific issues with suppliers/manufacturers
- Source new suppliers in all garment categories both locally and offshore
