As Lead Power Systems Engineer your main responsibilities will be to provide power systems engineering solutions from project conception through to completion and commissioning.
Ideally an RPEQ or CPEng qualified electrical engineer (or eligible for this certification), you will demonstrate a broad range of skills in HV power systems. Your work experience will have been gained across design, testing and commissioning, providing you with a sound technical and practical understanding of HV power reticulation, power systems planning, protection engineering, MV/LV motor control, switchgear, transformers and the analysis/modelling of power systems. Previous experience in managing a team will also be important for this leadership role.
This varied role will see you utilising both your technical engineering skills and your project management experience as you will be required to prepare project proposals, fee estimates and material specifications.
Based in the heavy industrial hub of Gladstone, this role is ideal for a local applicant or someone open to relocation. You will have the opportunity to travel to different sites to gain hands on expertise and play a key part in future project and business development.
