Responsibilities:
- Support safe and reliable operation of substantial assets - major dams, power stations, interconnected tunnels
- Install, overhaul and maintain large scale electrical generating units, auxiliary plant and hydraulic structures
- Develop a reputation of being the centre of resolving plant and equipment technical issues
- Ensure safe work practices are employed
- Mentor less senior trades people in isolation and recommissioning activities
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in the electrical industry
- Heavy and large mechanical experience (not domestic, building or construction)
- Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of relevant OH&S & NSW Electrical Safety legislation
- Excellent communication skills
