Project Engineer > Roads > Blue Mountains

 

Work for a major road builder on a highways upgrade project based in the Blue Mountains region.

This role requires someone from an engineering ????? ?????, preferably Civil. A broad knowledge of all aspects of civil construction; drainage, pavements, resurfacing, retaining walls and earthworks. Construction Contractor background preferred, this is a site role and we need someone who can lead and manage junior engineers.

With 5-10 years work experience in Highway Construction and  a Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering, you must possess skills and experience in the following areas:

Planning and managing technical issues associated with the construction works, and identifying and resolving technical issues.

Verifying that the works are being constructed in accordance with contract requirements and in compliance with specified, statutory and planned requirements.

Good communication skills and the desire to work in a positive team environment are essential.
