Foster Care Caseworkers are responsible for providing comprehensive support to children/young people in out of home care, carers, and the child/young person’s family, to ensure Burnside is fulfilling its duty of care responsibilities. These responsibilities include providing support and advice to the carer, regularly seeing the child/young person to encourage the development of a positive strengths based relationship between worker, carer family and the child/young person. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply

Applicants will require:
- relevant tertiary qualifications or proven work experience in this field
- experience in the direct care of children and young people
- demonstrated assessment and case management skills
