Applications are invited for a full time Retail Sales Assistant based at our site in Alice Springs NT.

Primarily, your role will be to provide friendly and efficient service to our local customers, in processing their orders and assisting them with their enquiries and purchases, from our range of Gases, Welding, Safety and Refrigeration products from the Gas & Gear centre.

As part of a diverse, results orientated sales team your main accountabilities will include:
- Quality servicing of call ????? ?????, telephone, faxed and system generated Orders and enquiries
- Actively promote the full range of gases, welding and safety equipment
- Merchandising
- Stock management
- Stores and dispatch duties
- Safely loading / unloading gas cylinders and performing store and cylinder yard related duties.

To be considered for this role, you will have:
- Retail experience
- Be highly motivated
- Excellent customer service and orientation skills
- Positive team working skills
- A desire to win without compromise of teamwork and professionalism whilst contributing to branch targets and objectives
- An ability to prioritise tasks
- SAP and Windows applications knowledge
- Retail skills in merchandising
- Knowledge of Gas, Welding & Safety Products would be desirable, as well as a trade background in welding and / or refrigeration
- Forklift licence is desirable
