Fixed Term 2 Years Position No: DPI 701685
Located in Queenscliff, this position is responsible for providing specialist and authoritative advice on sustainable fishing educational programs. You will develop and conduct leading edge educational programs utilising the centre’s aquarium exhibits and field-based activities, such as canoeing and snorkeling, to school and tertiary students, community groups and other government departments.
The Department of Primary Industries is seeking someone with the ability to teach and supervise all aspects of the Marine Discovery Centre’s curriculum and related activities; provide effective delivery of services to the community and education sectors with commitment to and understanding of the marine environment and educational issues in Victoria. A relevant tertiary qualification is required.
