Our client, an international multi disciplined consulting group, who provide design and project management services across the building and construction, civil engineering ????? ????? sectors seeks a Resident Engineer – Water/Waste Water for major projects in Doha, Qatar. 

The Resident Engineer acts as the client’s representative on site for all matters pertaining to the construction and commissioning of the project.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the Project Manager Representative on site regarding all matters related to Civil Engineering ????? ????? supervision, contact administration, preparation of bills of quantities and management of site staff;
•  Assisting in the coordination of work between contractors when multiple contractors are on site;
• Responsibility for the development of proposal documents, client liaison, coordinating input from a number of disciplines, management of a technical engineering ????? ?????, planning/scheduling and delivering ????? ????? on time and to budget;
• Acting as the client’s representative on site and thus responsible for the construction supervision and coordination of multiple contractors on site of major water infrastructure projects such as a pumping stations, reinforced concrete water reservoirs, etc.;
• Monitoring ????? ????? of staff members for conformance with Project Procedures;
• Advising and assisting the Contractor on construction procedures and contractual matters as required;
• Coordinating construction work and reporting with the Project Manager, Client and local au

Attributes:

•  A Bachelor Degree in Engineering ????? ????? accredited University;
•  A minimum of 10 years experience in construction supervision of ground reinforced concrete water reservoirs, water pumping stations, ductile iron water pipelines, etc.;
• Candidates we seek will ideally be a Chartered/Registered Engineer;
•  Minimum of 3 years experience working in the Middle East;
•  Possess a high level of commercial acumen.
