Quality Assurance / Quality Control Expert

The country of Qatar is currently experiencing an economic boom in economy and industry and has placed an emphasis on a major drive toward development of infrastructure services and construction of projects on a national scale. Our client, the leading government agency for infrastructure development and project management, is growing their specialist teams and now look to appoint a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Expert to monitor the appropriate standards in relation to the operations of the roads projects for the organization, eg. quality standards, health and safety standards, environmental standards for the Roads Project Division.

Responsibilities include:

·         Ensuring ????? ????? Roads Project Division remains abreast of best practice in relation to quality, safety and environmental standards and policies/procedures;

·         Developing appropriate quality, health and safety policies, procedures and processes based on accepted best practice international standards;

·         Monitoring ????? ????? Company’s roads projects in relation to quality standards, health and safety and environmental compliance, and recommending necessary corrective actions;

·         Ensuring ????? ????? monitoring ????? ????? mechanisms are implemented for the installation of the safety devices and equipment;

·         Leading and planning potential initiatives related to obtaining certifications such as relevant ISO standards.

Key attributes for this role include:

·         Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Quality Management Systems from an accredited University;

·         Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in QA/QC control ideally on major highway or roads projects;

·         Possess the ability to read and enforce working drawings and related specifications;

·         Must be capable of reviewing and implementing QA/QC policies and procedures;

·         Computer literacy;

·         Excellent communication skills essential.
