Our Client, a newly established Qatari quasi government entity who delivers international project management services to key master developers for commercial, real estate, residential, leisure, and infrastructure projects seeks to appoint a Contract Manager to their firm. Their intent is to service national (Qatari) and international projects as the client’s representatives on mega projects meeting time, budgetary and quality requirements.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role will be corporate and site based. Project scope is hotels, resorts, shopping centres, hospitals, golf courses etc.
Your duties will include:
- Management of consultant agreements and contracts;
- Cost planning;
- Estimating and variations;
- Management of the Bills of Quantities and Contract Document process;
- Representing the company at project meetings as required.
The key attributes for this role include:
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent;
- At least 15 years commercial / development construction experience in contract / claims management.
- RICS membership and EPC and FIDIC experience highly regarded;
- Previous Middle East experience would be highly regarded.
