Radio Rentals, South Australia's Biggest Electrical Retailer is seeking a committed person to fulfil the Level One Desktop support role and to be part of our growing success.
Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader your role will be to support the day to day operations of the Radio Rentals Group Data, Telecommunications and Network environment.
Essential skills required for this position are;
* Windows Desktop (2K, XP, Vista) Configuration and Troubleshooting
* Application installation and Troubleshooting
* A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
* An Understanding of Local and Wide area Networks
Exposure to one or more of the following areas will be advantageous;
* Key Microsoft Windows Server Roles, such as Active Directory, Exchange, IIS, SQL Server
* Linux Operating Systems (Redhat ES, Gentoo)
* VMware (ESX version 3.5)
* Cisco Network Equipment
* Experience in Level One Helpdesk support
The role is ideally suited to a passionate, motivated, flexible and lateral thinking individual, who is looking to commence, or further, their career as a professional within the ICT industry. You will possess exceptional problem solving and time management skills, the ability to multitask effectively and work flexible hours.
Please be aware that with the deregulation of trading hours, you may be required to conform to rosters on a rotational basis which reflect both seven day and late night trading.
