CASUAL TEACHER - TELEVISION

 

Expressions of Interest.

 

Expressions of interest are being sought for casual teaching in single camera and multi camera workflows in tv broadcast and video production.  Two profiles are sought:

 

A person with recent practical experience with state-of-the-art HD multi camera file-based technology (EVS/Avid Unity) who has a strong practical understanding of the technical and creative requirements of multi camera tv studio work.

A person with recent practical work with single camera shoot and edit technology who has a strong practical understanding of the technical and creative requirements of single camera shoot and edit production, with a focus on commercial and factual production genres.

 

Tertiary qualifications or significant experience in these particular areas is highly desirable.  In addition, both positions demand developed employability skills in interpersonal communication, working as part of an academic team, initiative and enterprise to function dynamically within a TAFE framework, planning and organisation of lesson plans and curriculum deliver, and self-management of assessment processes and record keeping.

 

Completion or commencement of a teaching qualification at a minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
