You will be joining a large and growing Australian Trade Contracting business with standout completed projects making them recognised leaders in their field of business across Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to the Q’ld based IT Manager, the role will see you commence as a Service Centre Technician mastering ????? ????? and technologies of the business from a first point of contact. Once comfortable, you will be given extra responsibilities including but not limited to Documentation, Project Work, Desktop Support and Networking and Infrastructure setup.
To be successful in this role you will be comfortable in a blue collar environment, have a stable background. Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
Use of a Service Management tool.
Microsoft Software including XP, Vista, Office, Exchange, Windows Server, SQL Server, MOSS and Active Directory.
Citrix
Understanding of LAN and WAN
VMware
Wyse and HP Thin Clients
Training of end users
The qualifications and skills you will require are:
Information Technology related course.
Documentation skills.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Well developed listening skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
An ability to work independently.
Certifications including ITIL, MCP, CCNA, MCSE or equivalent would be highly regarded.
