My, client a large dynamic organisation currently seeks experienced Protection Engineers/Coordinators . On offer is a stable environment and an opportunity to relocate to 3 regional NSW locations, including Port Macquarie, but still earn a CBD Salary - this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The role will be responsible for the management of protection systems used in sub transmission networks and calls for the coordination of systems developed within the distribution network throughout the geographical area. You will also be responsible for managing and implementing business strategies, plans and budgets as well as ensuring ????? ????? comply with maintenance and improvement programs to ensure the network is achieving improved technical performance. You will also be expected to actively network and liaise with authorities on developments in technology, systems, processes and management practices to benefit and improve protection systems, this will include liaising with the SCADA and load control groups on new IED products and much much more.

With a tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering ????? ????? Power Systems Engineering ????? ????? have 3-5 years specific experience in protection and local control of electric power systems. A confident communicator and trainer/mentor you will be technically very competent with protective relay applications and industry practices. An understanding of SCADA, digital communication systems as well as inter and intra substation communications protocols is an advantage. Idealy you will have worked in a similar role within a large organisation and have a high level of technical experience across planning, development and coordination of protection systems as well as demonstrated skills in implementing change within business operations.  You will have very strong verbal and written communication skills and strong experience of working on multiple projects efficiently and effectively and the capacity to lead culture change.
