G&WA is currently experiencing significant growth and an excellent opportunity exists for a Rollingstock Coordinator to join our operations based in Whyalla. Flexible arrangements and assistance may be provided to an appropriate person living outside of the area. This newly created position will report to the Rollingstock Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating Rollingstock maintenance activities.
- Preparing and managing work programs.
- Monitoring, inspecting, testing and determining suitability of rollingstock post scheduled maintenance program.
- Carrying out audits on both internal and external suppliers services.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- Previous experience in the maintenance of rollingstock or be willing to learn.
- Trade or Tertiary qualifications in mechanical, electrical or engineering would be desirable but not essential.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly developed computer skills and possess an attention to detail.
