Our client has endeavoured to undertake a growth plan like no other civil and infrastructure contractor in Western Australia – identify the best people in the market, create an atmosphere that will retain them, develop relationships with the key clients in their industry then create and submit competitive pricing and tenders for the projects they wish to develop and deliver – seems easy doesn’t it?

 

All a little too easy for our client and as such their continually successful team continue to win projects with ease in the face of a highly competitive marketplace. To continue in this vein they are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead their Oil and Gas infrastructure projects from project inception to successful and profitable delivery.

 

Reporting to the General Manager, The responsibilities of such a role would include:

-       Advanced business acumen within a contracting environment

-       The ability to confidently represent the Contractor in the marketplace

-       Large and successful project Delivery experience

-       Management of large teams including a diverse array of staff

-       Extensive networks within the state and national contracting arena

-       Advanced Business Development skills and the ability to convert, together with other staff, any potential opportunity that arises in the marketplace

-       Enhancing all internal and external relationships deemed detrimental to the ongoing growth of the business unit and

-       Above all, the ability to step in and drive projects should they require it

 

A role this prestigious would require a bachelor degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering ????? ????? technical qualifications, as well as a background in Senior Management within a Civil/Mechanical Contracting environment.
