Challenging Position

Our client in well known for providing safe and reliable onsite and offsite support services to a range of companies across Australia, particularly those operating in the coal, metals, minerals and steel industries. They are currently seeking an Operations Manager for a permanent position FIFO from Perth to their Leonora based operations.

In the role of Operations Manager your key accountabilities will be to:
* Coordinate & engage numerous teams over two sites to work together to accomplish business goals.
* Maintain & develop working relationship with key clients and stakeholders
* Ensure effective communication to employees
* The ability to develop budgets and reports
* Work in conjunction with workshop to ensure asset reliability & management
* Actively contributing to business improvement.
* Responsible for all Occupational, Health and Safety Operations of the site and employees.

The position requires an enthusiastic high performer with the following essential attributes:
* 5 years experience in management within the logistics/mining industry.
* Strong knowledge of relevant OHS Act and relevant regulations
* Solid financial and cost management skills
* The ability to engage, direct & manage employees
* Strong computer (i.e. MS Office Suite) skills
* Hold safety as a core value
* The ability to show initiative, time management and organisational skills


To stand out from the crowd you will possess a CERT IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.
