Our client in well known for providing safe and reliable onsite and offsite support services to a range of companies across Australia, particularly those operating in the coal, metals, minerals and steel industries. They are currently seeking a Workshop Coordinator for a permanent position to be based at their site in Cockburn.

In the role of Workshop Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the Mobile Workshop, ensuring that all maintenance functions are carried out in a timely manner, whilst adhering to Safety, Quality and Environmental Standards.

Your duties will include:
* Planning and implementing preventative maintenance schedules
* Manage the day to day activities of the maintenance workshop
* Manage and direct workshop employees and contractors
* Reporting using the JDE system
* Make recommendations on improving the efficiency, and safety of the workshop

To be considered for this role you must possess the following:
* Heavy Mechanical trade qualifications
* Experience in managing all aspects of a maintenance workshop
* Experience with road transport or pressure tankers
* Working experience with Kenworth and Volvo equipment
* Ability to ensure work is carried out within timeframes and quality requirements
* Strong commitment to Zero Harm
* Extensive knowledge of the heavy transport Industry
