Challenging Position

Our client in well known for providing safe and reliable onsite and offsite support services to a range of companies across Australia, particularly those operating in the coal, metals, minerals and steel industries. They are currently seeking a Business Manager for a permanent position to be based at their site in Kwinana.

In the role of Business Manager you will
* Lead, oversee and coordinate team leaders, employees and sub contractors to deliver safe quality services
* Drive the business to deliver maximum financial returns & meet budget forecasts
* Efficient fleet control and management inc inspections & scheduling maintenance
* Ensuring ????? ????? is carried out safely and in accordance with company guidelines and regulations
* Maintaining accurate financial information & reporting
* Ensure all statutory safety, IR & environmental regulations & standards are adhered to

The position requires an enthusiastic high performer with the following essential attributes:
* 5 years experience in management within the transport and logistics industry.
* Customer focus
* Strong knowledge of relevant OHS Act and relevant regulations and codes governing the pressure vessel compliance
* The ability to engage, direct & manage employees
* Strong computer (i.e. MS Office Suite) skills
* The ability to show initiative, excellent time management and organisational skills
* Hold safety as a core value
* Solid financial acumen and the ability to manage costs

To stand out from the crowd you will possess a CERT IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.
