Flex Developer

A short term contract is available for an immediate start with an option to extend depending on project workload and on going requirements.
The project will be development screens (ie Grids, data entry forms) in flex on a java websphere web based application.
We are seeking an experienced Flex Developer with the following experience.
- Commercial experience with software development processes, particularly demonstrable technical experience in the specified skills.
- Strong team player with a tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience.
- Problem solving ability coupled with the ability to think outside the box
- Candidates must also have a "can do" attitude, ability to work independently and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A progressive attitude towards application development, including the ability to embrace change, and an eagerness to work through complex technical challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Applicant must have proficient knowledge and experience in the following technologies:
- Advanced Adobe Flex development experience.
- Strong Web Development exposure
- ActionScript 3.0
- HTML / CSS
- Javascript
- XML
Following development skills are highly desirable but not essential.
