We currently have a requirement for a 12 month contract.
This role will be based around the CBD area with a National Company.

Tasks to be performed on a daily basis:

The Functional Architect, under the direction of the Lead Architect is responsible for generating a solution to meet the customers Business requirements. Typically the Functional Architect will be directly responsible for a group of Business Processes and for the optimisation of these Processes in the CCB solution.
The Functional Architect manages a group of CCB Designers and configuration experts to capture the requirements, develop and document the solution to meet the Customers Business Processes.
The Functional Architect utilises their detailed knowledge of the CCB software to look at ways of addressing Business Requirement with minimal customisation of the overall solution.
To capture and understand the client's business requirements and objectives and where necessary specify system, application or process changes in a way that provides a cost-effective solution design.

Essential skills and experience includes:

• Understanding the product technologies to be used and apply them appropriately
• Analyse software requirements, defining solution parameters and specifications
• Leading the functional design process and facilitates design workshops
• Negotiating and managing functional scope to reduce business and technical risks
• Understanding Utilities Business Practices
• Defines and adheres to agreed analysis and design methods
• Ability to skills transfer to others

Mandatory skills - the absolute minimum skill level required for the candidate to be considered:

• Experience in CCB software
• In depth understanding of Utilities Business Processes
• Software Development Lifecycle experience
• Understand and manage resources, priorities, business objectives and policies
• Awareness of future customer, industry and information technology trends
• Able in provide pragmatic solutions to complex business processes
