Workplace Health & Safety Coordinator
Approximate 3 month assignment

Mining industry - Get your foot in the door
Have you recently completed a Diploma in OH&S? Do you have approximately 12 months of experience under your belt? Are you interested in putting your skills to work in the mining sector?
Our client, a prominent international organisation is seeking a Work Place Health & Safety Coordinator. Reporting to the National Safety Manager, you will see yourself responsible for a variety of duties - including, but not limited to the following:
Interpretation, implementation and review of compliance with legislative requirements Conduct workplace inspections Assist in the investigation and reporting of all significant incidents Assist in the risk assessment process Assist in establishing appropriate education and training programs Conduct safety and other related training in the workplace Provide statistical reports Management and HS&E Manager Conduct internal auditing on all safety systems, processes and procedures Participate in meetings and provide information of the current state of OHS&E
To be considered for this temporary role, you will have completed a diploma in OH&S and have approximately 12 months' experience in a similar role.
Your organised and effective time management skills complimented by your first rate communication skills and high level of initiative will see you succeed in this role.
