Equity Settlements Officer

Desirable Working Environment
A large Equities broker is looking for an Equity settlements officer for a 6 month contract, with line and special project responsibilities. The role will be located in Perth's CBD and may require interstate travel. Duties include: - Settlements of all trades on Chess System
- Process, Conversions, Off Market Transfers & Broker Transfers
- Investigate and resolution of Exceptions
- Compliance incidence reporting
- Manage relationships with internal and external clients (ACH ASX Counterparties etc)
- Work with project managers on short term initiatives and strategic long term projects
- UAT testing, process mapping, process reengineering
- System integration
- Must be available for interstate travel
Requirements include: - Direct experience of Equity operations
- Knowledge of settlements and the lifecycle of a trade
- Exposure to scrip conversions, corporate actions desirable
- Ability to re-engineer a process from initial problem analysis through to solution implementation.
- Strong organizational skills
- Impeccable communications both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
