This privately owned piling company has been operating in numerous Australian states for decades. Within the piling industry they have an excellent name because of their versatility successfully handling projects such as building construction foundations, wharf and jetty construction, retaining wall, road / rail and bridge / heavy duty concrete works.

While reporting back to the General Manager who is based interstate you will indirectly and guide almost 50 staff both in office and site based. The office turned over $30M last year with a similar figure forecasted this year. You will have an Operations Manager below who will directly supervise a hand full of Project Managers.

You will be responsible for the following:

           Construction Management Project Controls

          Supplier and Contractor Management

          Planning and Budgeting

          Safety, Health, Environment and People Management

 

This role will suit a hard-working industry professional with extensive civil construction project experience. You will enjoy leading a team and possess superior communication and time management skills. The successful applicant will be commercially astute and preferably have tertiary qualifications.

 

With a steady flow of work from a loyal client base, Business Development will make up a certain percentage of your responsibilities along with occasion travel to site and interstate to attend meetings.
