This is an extremely interesting opportunity for an ambitious and talented Accountant who is looking to make a name for themselves in the lucrative Mining Industry. Working on-site in the Bowen Basin, you will be thrown into a blended operational role with a huge amount of responsibility and exposure to the cost drivers and issues surrounding a multimillion dollar Mine Site.

Whilst most Mine Site roles require a Mining Industry background, this will be an opportunity for a degree qualified Accountant currently undertaking CA or CPA studies to take the first leap in their career. Learning from an excellent young Commercial Manager who has risen up the ranks in this ASX listed Mining organisation quickly, you will cover the following duties:

• Month end
• Inventory analysis
• Journals
• GL Reconciliations
• Debits/ Credits

As you grow into the position, you will begin to undertake a more commercially orientated mine site role, looking at budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, CAPEX, OPEX and other business analysis work.

As long as you have a desire to live and work on-site in the Bowen Basin, you will be rewarded with accommodation, second to none training and mentoring, valuable exposure to mine site operations and a salary increase of up to $50,000 on your current salary! (Assuming you are currently earning around $50,000).
