The Management Accountant is responsible for supporting the implementation and administration of business control functions within the Supply Chain conveyor components Production Units.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
This role will support the implementation and administration of business control functions within Supply Chain. It will also involve the preparation of appropriate financial analysis and accounting records that support the commercial decision making process.
This role also involves:
- Preparation of monthly management reports
- Analysing operations in relation to costs, budgets and operating policies
- Preparing ????? ????? and quarterly forecasts
- Ensuring ????? ????? expenditure requests comply with budgets and approval systems.
- Planning and executing annual stocktakes for production units
- Providing production unit management teams with commercial advice and support
- Adherence to all Sandvik Mining and Construction Policies & Procedures especially the EHS policies
YOUR PROFILE
You will have a Bachelor of Business/Commerce degree and be CA or CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years experience gained preferably within the manufacturing, resource or construction sectors. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis are also prerequisites for the role.
In addition, the successful candidate will have a good understanding of integrated ERP system applications, plus have a strong attention to detail with the ability to work with complex data and concepts.
