Finance Analyst

Our oil & gas client is seeking an Accountant/Analyst for a contract of up to 12 months. This is a CBD based role and is available for immediate commencement.
You will work closely with the Finance Manager in relation to continuous improvement of project accounting procedures. You will establish financial processes which ensure maximum cost recovery and review commercial agreements to ensure appropriate procedures are being adhered to. Further, this role will require you to ensure financial obligations are met including annual budget preparation, insurance and tax management. You will review cost estimates for facilities, drilling and other project costs and in addition work with the project services team to develop tools for tracking project schedules and costs.
We are seeking an individual who is at least degree qualified in accounting with a solid leve lof experience in financial analysis and financial performance management. Extensive experience with SAP or another ERP is imperative, as is a proficiency in Excel.
