This established legal team seeks an experienced in house lawyer to join their team

This stand alone role offers interaction across the entire business, including close working relationships with the senior executives, high levels of strategic input to both legal and commercial decisions, responsibility for all issues pertaining to legal matters and a broad spread of complex work.

 The successful candidates will provide legal support and advice to the organisation on matters such as mergers & acquisitions, litigation, dispute resolution, risk, employment law and miscellaneous matters as they arise.  You will be involved in negotiating, drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts, identifying and managing legal risk as well as instructing external legal providers.

Ideally you will have 10-15 years experience gained in general corporate and commercial law obtained from a respected law firm or blue chip organisation.  Specific experience gained in contracts, trade practices and litigation will be highly regarded.  You will be commercially focused, energetic, pro-active, and able to provide solutions-orientated advice.  You should also be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with a diverse range of people.
