The main objective of the position will be to market and promote Plate products to the Perth marketplace by maintaining existing accounts and growing the client base. At your disposal will be a wide range of high quality materials with impressive specifications and extensive experienced support coupled with significant investment in Plasma Technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To maintain relationships with existing customers using call ????? ????? determine needs and providing excellence in customer service.
- Identifying new opportunities by exploring ????? ?????, geographic areas, following up on new large scale projects and generally building a network of market intelligence.
- Obtain enquiries, check stock availability, source material, negotiate pricing, establish delivery requirements.
- Keep up to date with new products and developments within the industry and advise customers accordingly.
- Attend regular sales meetings as required providing reports and feedback to assist senior management with marketing strategies.
- Maintain accurate call ????? ????? customer database.
- Follow up on large projects in the office assisting with quotations and estimating.
- Liaising with both the internal sales team and operations to finalise quotation details and delivery schedules.
- Achieve sales budgets and margins as determined by management.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience selling Plate products will be highly regarded.
- Some estimating experience and the ability to read Structural Engineering ????? ?????.
- Excellent relationship management and business development skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised and able to work autonomously.
- Knowlege of processing.
- Good personal presentation and a winning personality.
- Knowledge of the Steel Industry and customers within the territory.
