Key Competencies
· Solution definition, application architecture and/or systems integration experience of commercial off the shelf software packages in the Production, Manufacturing ????? ?????/or Supply Chain management domains. This would encompass non-ERP solutions such as Manufacturing ????? ????? (MES), Operations Intelligence and Decision Support, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, Asset Management etc, ideally in the Mining, Metals or Minerals Processing industry.
· Senior level experience including proven development of complex solution architectures
· Demonstrated experience and/or understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts and frameworks including TOGAF and Zachman or similar.
· Highly effective communication skills in particular an ability to explain complex architectural issues and concepts to IS Management and/or senior business stakeholders.
· Ability to work and provide leadership in a multi-sourced IS vendor environment.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
· Mining domain knowledge.
· SAP Supply Chain - Exposure to and awareness of SAP Supply Chain Management within a mining domain.
· SOA and Integration - SAP to MES Integration experience in a SOA context and technical architecture in particular for SAP to MES integration within a mining domain (e.g SAP PI). This role will have a focus on integration between the clients MES applications.
· Leadership - Leads (through consultation with the Growth Program Project Manager and Manager, Enterprise Architecture) the planning and implementation of the client's Enterprise Architecture through solution delivery within projects.
· Management - Manages and oversees the planning development of strategic architecture deliverables. This will include managing engagement with other Architects and Stakeholders in relation to SAP to MES Integration as well as managing Solution Architects.
· Stakeholder Engagement - Serves as key contact point for technical architecture and guidance on day to day operational matters and reports and escalates as required to the Manager, Enterprise Architecture.
SDLC - Strong knowledge of leading Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) frameworks and processes with a good understanding of the Architecturally significant touch-points between the system development lifecycle and an Enterprise Architecture framework as it applied to solution delivery.
Experience Required
Enterprise Architecture Framework certification (e.g. TOGAF) and/or proven experience working in organisations with a mature Enterprise Architecture Framework.
SAP Supply Chain and mining focused modules.
Mining domain applicatiions and technology and business processes.
Technical Expertise:
- SOA
- SAP based integration in particular Process Integration (PI) (and SAP ESB directions)
- Bespoke applications within Mining Domain
- Integration
- Business Intelligence and Reporting
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Project Management experience.
Governance Implementation experience.
Mining industry experience, in particular in the MES integration space.
