Due to tremendous success and sustained growth they are growing their Perth team and are now in the market for a Converged Technology Network Engineer.

My client is a very exciting, fast-paced, knowledgeable and friendly company with offices throughout Australia. They are primarily focused on the design, implementation and support of very specialized and highly technical solutions to the IP Video, IP Voice and data market space.

In this role you will be responsible for technical pre-sales, design, implementation and support of technologies and services that are offered to their ever increasing portfolio of high profile customers. As a convergence specialist you will require in-depth knowledge in TCP/IP and more specifically real-time network technologies like IP Voice and IP Video along with the following technical skills and knowledge:

Very strong in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in IP protocols and IP networks

Good experience in trouble shooting problems on IP networks (connectivity, slow-response, packet loss etc)

Good knowledge and experience with H.323 protocols and VoIP

Exposure to Voice and Video products and technologies

Knowledge and experience with Cisco products and technologies

Hands on experience with MS Active Directory and various Windows platforms

Experience in enterprise environments

Cisco certification of CCNP, CCVP, CCNA is highly sought

3-5 years of hands-on industry experience
