As the Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for growing the Corporate and SME customer/revenue and margin base through acquisition of new and profitable customers within Western Australia. With a geographic footprint in all major state capitals, this diverse sales group has huge growth potential in telecommunications services. Our clients Business Solutions is focused on providing services within its own network footprint and especially within the Data services market. Major Responsibilities: Identify sufficient potential customers who do not currently have any of their IT&T spend with AAPT to meet pipeline goals Strategic focus on client data products Prepare a sales plan to acquire the business of those customers Develop a pro-active call ????? ????? win new business Include management in visits when beneficial to drive or close sale Proactively identify and close product and solutions sales opportunities Create profitable and commercially viable solutions and pricing strategies to address customer's commercial requirements and market segment Design creative and pro-active solution for customers where appropriate, sell value not price Understand customers business via customer meetings Be commercially savvy and focus on commercial deliverables Use corporate hospitality opportunities at appropriate levels in the customers organisation Prepare and deliver high quality proposals to new customers Understand the competition and share knowledge of competitive activity with the team including strategies to combat competitor tactics
Selection Criteria: Previous experience of managing large multiyear project economics and pricing Have experience in co-ordinating senior commercial and technical resources Current senior level experience of negotiating large deals Strongly conversant with the telecommunications industry Conversant with design, build and operate outsourcing model Achievement oriented. Previous history of successfully delivering ????? ????? target and high customer satisfaction measures
