Currently they are endeavouring ????? ????? a critical position - Senior Project Director for the businesses ever increasing portfolio, as such this position requires the Director to be responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering ????? ????? areas from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, through to handover.
You will be required to communicate and present all stages to the client, have a supervisory overview in the development of budgets and schedules, manage performance; report progress and initiate action to assure project objectives and schedules are met.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the programme-wide management of the definition and delivery of the project requirement including coordination of engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, commissioning, and regulatory approvals between multiple projects.
- Providing leadership to develop and maintain a high performance project team.
- Has overall responsibility for Project execution, ensuring ????? ????? are delivered within contract requirements, standards of quality and safety and to Customer performance expectations.
- Direct and control the civil construction groups to ensure that standards of quality, cost, safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met.
- Ensure current budget and cost objectives are achieved, while maintaining satisfactory service to clients and completing projects within the specified time.
- Prepare and submit operating budgets and ensure the achievement of agreed objectives for operating profit, cash flow and the ratio of operating profit to assets employed.
- Complete assigned projects in compliance with client expectations, company objectives, and all contractual documentation.
- Procure necessary resources for assigned projects.
- Maintain contact with management personnel from suppliers, subcontractors, and governmental agencies as appropriate
- Authorise construction planning, programming and completion schedules.
- Authorise engagement of subcontractors and all major subcontract variations.
- Monitor progress, ensuring ????? ????? quality and techniques are of a high standard, and report regularly on project performance and cost against company objectives.
- Ensure that safety is an integral component of all construction planning and processes.
- Review proposals from subordinates for new projects or modifications to existing projects.
To be considered for this highly desirable role you will have Tertiary degree in related engineering ????? ?????/or related disciplines, specifically those related to
Rail Construction and infrastructure. You will have extensive experience in the overall management and delivery of major EPCM projects and proven expertise in multiple construction projects with value in excess of $1B AUD
Your demonstrated experience in the management of highly complex project deliverables and experience of projects with high degree of technical/organisational complexity is essential. Your diligence, attention to detail and confidence in your ability to handle high stress situations are crucial to the effective delivery of this project.
