Innovative Mechanical Engineer POWER GENERATION

Randstad is working in partnership with a leading Global Multidiscipline engineering ????? ????? is expanding their capabilities within the Power Generation sector. With a team of 15 consultant working in the Power Division they are seeking an experience Business/ Projects Focused Mechanical Engineer to lead a team of engineers on a range of projects that this specialist organisation has been successful in obtaining.

This position has come available due to expansion within the organisation. Your role will be reporting to the Group Manager for QLD and NT  you will have a semi autonomous role that will be focused on working in conjunction with key clients in the market, developing relationships with new clients, have a strong ability to work on the technical components of the project with key clients.

To be successful in this role you require the following:

• Extensive experience working within the Power Sector
• Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years industry experience
• Strong understanding of the procurement methodologies and contract principles
• A passion for business development and self motivated to build a successful team
• Strong decision making skills to be results orientated
• Local experience in required an understanding of Australian Legislations and Standards is a must
