My client is an ASX listed, global retail group with operations across the country, US and UK. With significant operations across WA they are looking to appoint a Finance and Administration Manager for one of their north of the river operations.
This is a rare opportunity to embrace a broad job description covering a range of operational, administrative and accounting duties.
Reporting to the Centre Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing financial and management reports prepared by head office
- Calculation and process of prepayments, accruals and journals
- Preparation of consolidated budgets ready for presentation
- Assistance with internal and external audits
- Review of variances and commentary
- Liaison with departmental managers in relation to reforcasting and budgeting
- Providing guidance and recommended actions after reviewing the P&L report
- Ensuring accurate administration for all lease obligations
- HR management such as leave/payroll/ new starter documentation
- Liaison with marketing and production of marketing reports and executive summaries
This is a varied role which would suit someone looking to diversify across finance and administration.
Working in a retail environment there will be occasional Saturday and/or Thursday evening shifts required. All Managers within the group will relieve the Duty Manager for a one day every 5-6 weeks.
To be successful you will require experience in a similar position combined with an analytical mind, superior organisational skills and a team orientated nature.
