Due to continued expansion, they seek to appoint a Business Manager to optimise the efficiency of the practice and maximise business profitability.

Having worked as a Manager (or above) within Business Services or Corporate Tax, you will understand the importance of effectively planning and managing a team of accountants / administration staff to achieve productivity and revenue targets. You are looking to broaden your strong technical skill set and utilise your strengths being an enquiring ????? ?????, having the confidence and knowledge to make decisions in a practice environment and developing a team technically as required. This role will transform your career from technically hands-on to business management.

Your remit will be diverse and challenging. Responsibilities will include driving compliance deadlines and overall work flow, fees and billings management, and driving key personnel issues (including appraisals, reviews and professional development). Further, you will develop systems and processes that increase operational efficiencies.

Possessing the qualifications to complement your technical background, you will have sound IT skills, extremely high attention to detail and the drive to identify process-improvement opportunities. Ideally, you will demonstrate solid experience with APS (practice management software) and Filesite, a document management system. Most importantly, however, you are a proactive and effective leader with the proven ability to take control and be accountable.
