Retail Framer/Designer

Pennant Hills Framing has a full-time position open for a retail Custom Picture Framer with strong design skills. The business has been established for 14 years and is very successful on the back of our excellent customer service. The ideal applicant would have extensive custom framing and front counter design/retail experience. As we also provide wide format digital printing services, experience in this field or even a personal interest in computers/photography, would be advantageous. Training will be provided in this area as the job involves the acceptance and invoicing of digital printing jobs. 5 minute walk from Pennant Hills station.

We are looking for all round framing skills here, with emphasis on retail and design.

Duties:

• Design, quote and invoice custom framing and digital printing jobs.
• Prepare and place suppliers orders.
• Custom framing - cut mats, backing and glass. Mount artworks, including canvas and embroidery stretching. Join frames and assemble.
• Digital printing - quote and invoice new jobs.
• Process retail sales and custom framing/printing pick ups.
• Open and close the shop, banking.

Renumeration:

We are offering $42,000 - $48,000 a year depending on experience and skills. This is a full time position and may involve some overtime during ????? ?????.
