Located in the Auburn area, this national manufacturer is systems oriented and has two key drivers to the business - DIFOT and maximising profitability - and operates within a framework of quality and customer satisfaction.
Demanding and autonomous, this role is committed to best practice and lean methodologies, so you will be proactively assessing and challenging existing work flows and processes. Hands on, you will work closely with Supply Chain, and work with clearly defined targets and objectives. More specific accountabilities will encompass:
- Production planning
- Delivering ????? ????? between capacity and customer needs
- Managing the short, medium and long term demand-supply balance
- Optimising production and minimising resource and inventory costs
- Participating in the S&OP process
- Adhering ????? ????? methodologies and best practice principles
To be eligible for this role you must have substantial experience in a sophisticated production planning environment utilising advanced ERP systems (SAP/APO is ideal) and supplemental tools such as Excel. You will be articulate and able to present to and influence key stakeholders. APICS and/or relevant tertiary qualifications will always be highly regarded.
